Celebrating the release of Pokémon Gold and Silver, the Premium File (Japanese: プレミアムファイル) was made available on December 10, 1999. The Premium File includes special prints of the Generation II starter Pokémon and their evolutions for a total of nine cards. The file also comes with a card book.
