Wētā Workshop is thrilled to be exploring another world from the mind of Jim Henson, this time bringing you high-quality collectibles from the iconic 1986 film Labyrinth.

A careless wish sees a young girl’s baby brother taken away by the mystical Goblin King. With just 13 hours on the clock, sixteen-year-old Sarah must solve, navigate, and survive the many trials and riddles of the mysterious Labyrinth.

How you turn my world, you precious thing, you starve and near exhaust me.

Everything I’ve done, I’ve done for you; I move the stars for no one.

With just 5 minutes left, Sarah is closer to retrieving Toby than she’s ever been before. Chasing after the absent Goblin King, she climbs a flight of stairs only to find herself trapped in an Escher-like maze, where up and down have no consequence or bearing.

The Goblin King, Jareth, traverses the intertwining stairways without restraint, defying gravity itself as he taunts and beguiles our desperate heroine, pointing out the location of the child beyond her grasp.

No matter where she goes or what direction she takes, Toby is always just out of reach, and time continues to run thin within this illusionary maze.

"Ask almost any sculptor, costumer, or creature-maker at Wētā Workshop about Labyrinth and they’ll always list it among their favourite films. Many will tell you it’s the reason they do what they do. The creative vision of Jim Henson and his team was so fresh, so imaginative, and so fun that it inspired a generation.

The chance to celebrate that world by making Labyrinth collectibles is a dream come true for many of us. It’s a joy to be able to indulge our passion for Labyrinth and get lost in its wonders every day!"
